1 lb. lean hamburger
1 green bell pepper, chopped
1 8-oz. can tomato sauce
1 c. cheddar cheese, grated
salt & pepper to taste
egg noodles
Brown hamburger with chopped bell pepper. Add salt, pepper, and tomato sauce. Lower heat and allow to simmer while you cook the egg noodles according to package directions. Add cooked noodles and cheese to meat mixture and enjoy.

You don't get much fat when you use the lean ground beef, but it's still a good idea to drain the beef before adding the egg noodles and cheese.
As an added option, you can add a small chopped onion when cooking the meat.
Added a chopped jalapeno pepper adds a bit of spice to the effort.
