Courtney's random word, callipygian, had significant meaning on Friday night. My friends, Judy and Theresa Jacobi as well as Bryan's girlfriend, Mac, and I attended an American Ballet production of Swan Lake at the Chicago Civic Opera House (same locale as Lyric Opera). The performance was the classical one and it was splendid - expecially the danseurs who seemed to hang in the air for an impossibly long time......reminded me of Michael Jordan at his best. The orchestra was outstanding and the sets were breathtakingly beautiful. I'm not sure how to use the word, callipygian (noun, adjective?), but those danseurs, as opposed to the ballarinas, sure had callipygian butts! We agreed, as a group, to find another cultural event to enjoy soon.

Posted by: Courtney on March 29, 2004 02:03 AMHang on a minute, Bryan's girlfriend? Is this why he hasn't blogged since the beginning of the year--other priorities with his time?
Posted by: Elizabeth on March 29, 2004 12:42 PMWell, I guess you will have to ask Bryan that question......
