Sunday meal was ruined by a sliver of soap. I cleaned the chicken and set it up on the drain board to dry out a little bit. Then I stuffed it, put it in a pan for roastins, turned on the oven, and waited for about an hour. On checking the chicken, I was dismayed to find it bubbling in suds. Therefore, our Sunday dinner consisted of tomato soup.

I just read this - how funny but frustrating. Where did the sliver of soap come from?
That's great! Makes me feel better about some of the meals I've come up with. A year or two ago, I did an orzo (pasta) dish that called for lots of parsley. It tasted like one had just taken a mouthful of grass! I threw it down the disposal; it was just awful.
