I still feel dazed from getting the flu at the end of February. First I was laid low, very low, then Dale got it, his parents arrived for their spring visit, there was spring break for Jonathan, a Willie Nelson concert with Joy & Brian, Dale got laid off, Jonathan went back to school, the clocks changed . . . Things have been hectic, and now Joy & Brian have gone back home (sob) as of this morning. Our house is so quiet! Kayleigh, however, has decided Dale is an acceptable substitute for Brian, and she is now asleep in her nap position on him. I made fresh bread this morning, so the house smells nice.
Last night I managed to accomplish my goal of putting up a new site at www.KarlFamilyHistory.com before B&J returned home. I got in lots of new information on the Churchett/Kilburn side of things as well as, I think, some more stories & anecdotal information on the Karl side (which I did sometime last year). Check out the Recent Changes index to see who has new info.
I may try to go grab a nap before getting Jonathan from school. With my luck, though, just as I get settled, Kayleigh will wake up. She hasn’t been sleeping too soundly lately—but she’s got four teeth now.
