Today I rode my bike (indoors, on a trainer) until I’d burned 527 calories; it took me 49 minutes. It felt great! I did some good stretches afterwards and had a couple of slices of buttered toast. Nothing has ever tasted so good. Now I just have to see how I get exercise b/w now and Thursday, when Jonathan goes to Lunch Bunch and I have 2-1/2 hours to myself.
Posted by elizabeth at January 26, 2003 03:27 PMWow! You're doing great. FYI - my favorite after exercise breakfast is toast (I use Nature's Own Light Honey Wheat) with peanutbutter (Jiffy's Creamy Whipped) and Jelly (usualy Simply Fruit - stawberry or peach)...a delicious, nutricious 6-weight-watcher points breakfast.
Posted by: Jfer on January 27, 2003 08:47 AMMaybe you should start exercising again just to be able to have that breakfast--that sounds tasty.
Besides, you need to if you're going to be a Team Danskin leader (a good topic for your blog, I might point out).
And I don't exercise early enough in the day to have "breakfast" following my workout. But it sounds like a great light lunch or dinner.

Posted by: Cynthia on January 28, 2003 06:56 AM"...start exercising again"? I never stopped exercising. I've been meeting my co-workers 3x a week before work (weather permitting) for several years now...I can't imagine why I would ever stop.
Posted by: Jfer on January 28, 2003 08:27 AMOops, sorry, Jfer--I said that only b/c of your comment on Leah's blog about needing to find the motivation to exercise again as you were going through a bout of lethargy and noticed that your clothes are starting to fit a bit tighter. I misinterpreted your comment to mean that you weren't exercising at the moment--my fault!
