“What’s the first thing you think of when I say bodily fluids?”
*giggles from the class*
“Wait! Wait! I mean…er…I didn’t mean it that way.” - my biofluids professor
I am so sick of studying. I don’t even think I’m retaining anything anymore.
There has been a definite lack of updates in the blog department. Lots of changes are occuring, and the family doesn’t know anything about them. This must be fixed. I’ll use this as my medium to inform my dear family and friends about these changes.
I
AM
QUITTING
SCHOOL.
Omg. I know. I’m freakin’ college dropout. (I never thought I would be saying that.) This year, I have absolutely no passion for what I’m learning, and for previous semesters, I have enjoyed the classes, but I am sure that there are other things that I enjoy more. I looked ahead 10-20 years, and I had no ambition with my major, so I decided to change it.
Before I told anyone, I already enacted and changed my major to biochemistry. I planned on withdrawing from school. The reason I decided to do this is because all the classes that I am taking are upper level engineering classes. Why take something and put yourself through hell (joking) when nothing will count except for the hours? (No senior ring for me next semester.) So, I’ve decided that withdrawing will give me a MUCH NEEDED break from school, and time to figure everything else out.
The plan now is to go to pharmacy school later. I’ve always loved drugs, and I just put that passion aside because once I start something, I do it with vigor and don’t stop or let anything get in the way.
Well, until now. During this break, I am going to study to become a pharmacy technician, become nationally certified, and just chill and work.
I also may be attending University of Houston for next semester as a pre-pharmacy major. I’m already applied, so we’ll see. I’m not sure where I’ll be this spring, but duh, I’ll be super happy :).
Yay. I told my family.
This weekend I went to the Great Wall of China!
It is like totally like totally worth seeing. It was so awesome. Duh!
