So, just like the title says, i am almost outta here. I have only been back for 2 days, and I have to leave in about a week. This is what is on my agenda so far:
August 17: Sugarland Duathlon (3 mile run—-1000m swim—-3 mile run)
August 20-23: Fish Camp
August 23-24: Move in
August 26-27: Engineering Orientation Program
August 29-31: St. Mary’s Welcome Retreat
September 1: First Day of Classes
I think I am really ready for this college experience. Camp Cho-Yeh molded me into more of an adult. There, I had to take responsibility for myself, and I didn’t have any parents to tell me anything. Even though it is just summer camp, I feel that it has made me a stronger person, ready for anything ahead of me. It will just be nice to see if it did that. I am ready, ready, ready! And what’s funny is that me and my brother keep talking about how my mom is going to break down and cry the 3rd-7th day that we’re actually gone. Like, every time that she hears the phone rings, she’s gonna think that it is one of us. And if it’s not…she’s gonna cry. I hope she’s not like that, but I have faith that she will flourish.
Well, that’s good for right now. I’m off to find some quotes.
So, now I have 2 more days until i’m gone. On wedneday morn’, I will pick Beth up so that we can drive to College Station to go to Fish Camp. Then, when we get back, we will both move in. Yay…that should be very exciting! I am really ready to be up in college. I know I am ready, and I sense this impatience inside of me. But at the same time, it is kinda sad. Like, Kari’s leaving Thursday. Matthew’s leaving Friday. Jason’s already in school. We’re back to normal. And everyone will depart and go there separate, but new beginnings. That’s my thought on the subject now. Well, i am tired, and I must go. Talk to you later…but in a while.

Right now…I’m in college! I just got back from Fish Camp 2003 a couple hours ago, and I’m already partially moved in. (my stuff is in the room, my bed is made, but that’s it) i’m going to move in tomarrow when my roomate moves in from 9:30-10. After that, i’m going to head back home, so that i can clean my room and get EVERYTHING that i need for college. I expect and plan to be back on Wednesday. it’s really exciting. I went out to eat with my mom, beth, and john right after i moved in. We went to Cafe Eccel, one of the really nice restaurants in College Station. It was soooo good. And it really made me realize that this is it. i’m going to be in college, and it’s gonna be great, but BOY, what an experience. Well, I think i’m gonna go…i have to set up stuff on my computer. Talk to you lata

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!
I just got back from my First Yell at Texas A&M University, and it was okay. I wasn’t really expecting much, but what I got was a little bit of disappointment. If you think about them, it’s kinda crazy. Here’s the gist. 1) People looking like idiots 2)People screaming like idiots 3) People positioned like idiots. There there. I think that about covers all of it. It’s not that I’m dissing it, but I’m just saying that it’s the weirdest tradition of all time. I mean, it’s like having a pep ralley with out the football players being there. That’s almost as bad as salad without the salad dressing. Otherwise, it would just be lettuce. How odd. But how am I to complain, I did decided to go here. I just have to remember all about the catholic church and how wonderful it is. Also, how great the biomedical engineering department is. And how great the people are here, even though i haven’t met anyone that great yet. But i think that everything has it’s time. i will find a man…i will go to medical school…i will succeed…but only how God wants me too…Well, I am tired, and I have lots of errands to do tomarrow
